The Zama Digital sensor module connects to and monitors the status light on production machinery and equipment. From the lights we can interpret information such as the cycle, idle and total run time of the machine. The data is collected and sent via Wi-Fi to our cloud platform hosted on Amazon Web Services. From the platform you can monitor and view the data via a browser on your computer or tablet. If your machine, however, does not have a status light, we can find an electrical signal that signifies the same changes in state, meaning we can connect to all machinery regardless of age, make and model, across multiple manufacturing sectors.
The low-cost sensor module can be retrofitted to machinery and equipment of all ages. Compatible machinery includes but is not limited to; Mills, Lathes, Laser Cutters, Water Jets, Powder Coat Plants, Press Breaks, Punches, Shot Blasters and Welding Plants. If you have a machine or piece of equipment not listed please get in touch and we will be happy to help. We are confident however, if it has power to it, we can monitor it!
The platform allows you to see in real time whether your machines are running or not running by displaying this in a listed page. You are then able to select individual machines to find out more information on how it has been performing by analysing the historic data for that machine. You will be able to see the cycle time of the machine as well as create your own custom graphs to graphically display the data over a specified time period.
By having access to accurate data, you will be able to better understand one of your most valuable assets, your machines. Having your data in one place makes it easier for you to make decisions that will help improve the efficiency and profitability of your factory. It can help you schedule work more effectively through the factory, investigate unplanned down time and reduce the likeliness of making unnecessary capital investment by using your current recourses more effectively.
